Horses only have a life expectancy of about 25 to 30 years, some of the animal’s I’ve until they are 40+ but this only happens rarely. In English speaking countries horses heights are measured in ‘hh’ or ‘h’ which means ‘hands high ‘. You measure their height from the highest point in their withers, which is the point where there neck meets the back, this is considered to be a stable part of the horses anatomy unlike their head or neck. Sizes and heights vary greatly between all the different kinds of breeds, from the full sized horse and a miniature horse.
